The idea of constructing the “Indonesia Indah” Mini Park TMII came with Siti Hartinah Suharto, fondly known as Mrs. Tien Suharto. Taman Mini is Government’s Owned On April 7th, 2021, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah TMII cultural park in East Jakarta was taken over by the government. The move took over the park from Harapan Kita Foundation, a foundation set up by the family of former president Soeharto. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo signed a presidential regulation on March 31 2021 officially mandating the takeover. The regulation also stipulates a requirement for the government to establish a team that would oversee the management and transition for three months. The government assured its citizens that it will remain committed toTMII in preserving the national heritage and serving as an education facility. It also needed to optimize it to be a cultural theme park under international standards. 8. Children will enjoy the Istana Anak Anak Indonesia Castle The Indonesian Children’s Palace abbreviated as IAAI was inaugurated on April 20th,1986 by president Soeharto. The main building of the palace is named Graha Widya Tama, it consists of four floors with an open space on the second floor.
